Château Carrión

Our Story

Château Carrión was born from something real—a story of partnership, passion, and purpose.

Behind the project are Edgard Carrión and Keitza Carrión, Puerto Ricans who have been living in Florida for over 17 years and have shared more than 29 years of life together. Along that journey, wine became an essential part of their time as a couple—especially during their “date nights,” where a glass of wine meant connection, conversation, and enjoyment.

With a natural appreciation for French wines, they eventually decided to explore Napa Valley. There, they discovered a level of quality that deeply impressed them. In their experience, Napa produces wines that can stand alongside some of the world’s great wines—an experience that inspired them to create something of their own.

Château Carrión began as a deeply personal project. It was never initially intended as a business, but rather as the desire to create a wine they themselves would truly enjoy—one that reflected their taste, their experiences, and their standards. Throughout the process, they explored different vineyards and production options, consistently choosing quality above all else.

The wine comes from Napa Valley, specifically the Rutherford area, working with fruit associated with A2 Vineyard, a property within the Beckstoffer Vineyards portfolio. The name A2 references André Tchelistcheff and Andy Beckstoffer, two key figures in the history of that vineyard.

The current collection includes A2, a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, and Junior, a carefully crafted blend designed for balance and structure. Both wines are produced with respect for the natural integrity of the product.

Each production is limited, in small batch format, with approximately 576 bottles per lot, allowing for meticulous attention to detail.

The first vintage dates back to 2023, while Château Carrión as a brand was officially launched in 2025—marking the beginning of a new chapter for what started as a passion project.

Over time, what began as something intimate has evolved through sharing the wine with others. In multiple blind tastings alongside well-known wines, Château Carrión has been selected by guests—often without knowing its origin—including experienced palates and sommeliers.

Beyond the wine, Château Carrión represents an experience: elegance, connection, and shared moments. It is an invitation to open a bottle, slow down, and create lasting memories.

This is only the beginning.
